Bank Göppingen - office lighting
The headquarters of the district savings bank in Göppingen was completely renovated and refurbished from 2011 to 2013. These new spaces present themselves as a contemporary central office with a multifunctional and interactive work concept. The approach is completely rethought and brings together staff and customers. The workplaces adapt to the open room concept. This creates an environment for agile cooperation which enables discrete conversations as well as open exchange.
For this project, we were commissioned to develop and manufacture 42 mostly individually customized luminaires. In close cooperation with the architects, numerous special requests and particular requirements were taken into account. The lighting could thus be adjusted to the space concept ideally. For the interior work often oak wood was used. Taking this into account the veneer shades were built from oak wood as well. To make optimal use of the large spatial volume in the cafeteria we developed our largest ever veneer shades with 80cm in diameter and 40cm height. In the waiting area high backrest sofas are to be found. Here our floor lamps were built extra high to match. For the lighting of meeting situations we developed pendant lights that are completely closed with diffuser material. Thereby only very little cleaning effort is caused.
